Earlier this month, at the Fall Member Meeting in Washington DC, Robin Grier presented a vision of how Catalyst technology powers emergency responders using new Mission Critical Push to Talk technology on LTE Networks, including FirstNet(tm) powered by AT&T, during a session “Are we there yet? Is the MCX device ecosystem ready to go?” (MCX is the designation for mission critical voice, mission critical data, and mission critical video).
Moderated by Ken Rehbehn, Principal Analyst, CritComm and Insights/Contributing Analyst for Critical Communications at Omdia, the panel included Chief Michael Baltrotsky from Montgomery County, Maryland, Avi Friedman, Vice President at Tait Communications, James Potter, Director at L3Harris, Greg Kelly, Senior Manager at Samsung Electronics, and Ritesh Desai, Engineering Manager at Southern Linc Wireless.
