INTERWORKING ECOSYSTEM
Catalyst is a leader in enabling new LTE based communications for public safety. Catalyst’s role in this ecosystem will enable users on LTE networks running a standards- compliant MCPTT application to communicate with users on legacy Land Mobile Radio networks. This LMR to LTE communication, called Interworking, is essential for the adoption of MCPTT on LTE, as the transition will occur over time. To realize the full benefits of Interworking, technology suppliers need to work together to ensure these networks deliver the promise of improved communications, and that they actually work together in the field as expected.
